From the Kanto Area
Tokyo – Chuo Expressway (about 2 hr 30 min)
Suwa IC – Route 152 (about 40 min)
If you are coming from the Suwa area, your navigation system may guide you to a road via Lake Chiyoda, but the road is narrow (and closed in winter due to snow) and cannot be used.
Please follow the road signs and continue straight for about 7 km from the summit of Tsue-tsuki Pass.
From the Kansai Area
Osaka – Meishin Expressway (about 5 hr 30 min)
Komaki JCT – Chuo Expressway (about 2 hr 20 min)
Ina IC – Routes 153, 361 and 152 (about 50 min)
